High School Students have the opportunity to get information from various colleges, universities, trade schools, public safety academies, apprenticeship programs, skill trade careers and MORE!
QUAD will be presenting our College Planning 101 workshop at 6:30 and 7:30!
Applying for college takes time and effort. Choosing the right college or university, writing personal statements, applying for financial aid and scholarships, and figuring out how to pay for it all can be a daunting task. The Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and QUAD College Advising are here to help! Attend our College Planning 101 Lab at DSTDFI Headquarters on Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and get tips, tools, and resources to help you and your child(ren) create a formula for success when it comes to planning and preparing for college.
This event is free and open to the public. To register, visit at bit.ly/dstdac-career-college-fair.
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with colleges and universities about scholarship opportunities. Some colleges will be accepting students and awarding scholarships on the spot. Learn about our Micro-Scholarship program that awards you scholarship dollars for your high school accomplishments.

Join us for our Inaugural Anniversary Benefit on August 12th at 3pm! We'll be celebrating our first year of serving Metro-Detroit seniors and ramping up for our next year of programming. The event is completely free, and there will be food, treats, and drinks. All we ask is for a charitable contribution towards our programming for the 2018-19 year. All donations are tax deductible and directly impact an underserved student in need of direct support and guidance with the college application and enrollment process. RSVP and let us know you're coming. We hope to see you there!
P.S. If you're unable to celebrate with us on August 12th or just want to donate today, click here.
This lab will focus on:
- What to consider when students are comparing financial aid awards letters
- final steps to seal the deal with their new college or university-- including
- enrollment deposits
- housing deposits
